Participants will learn about teaching AP Computer Science to high school students in an online environment. We will show the course outline and syllabus plus sample exercises and how mentoring is offered to students through the Supercomputing Challenge. APCS grants college and dual credit and is an outstanding solution for students who are self-motivated and can thrive in an environment where online support is available We will describe lessons learned and plans for future implementation of this course which is currently reaching students across the state. Online presentation of Computer Science AP / A 2. Characteristic of a studnet who takes online courses. 3. Mode of presentation will be Powerpoint and live online presentation using syllabus 4. The goal is make New Mexico educators especially in rural areas of the computer science ap/a offering.
